Running quick or deep scans do not change anything. This occurs prior to any scans being run. I now reboot the system and open IE again and there are the black toolbars as shown in homepage #2. Once ASC is installed I open Internet Explorer and all is fine (homepage #1). It doesn't matter if I choose to install or decline the IObit Toolbar/Yahoo search options - the results are the same. I uninstall version 4 using the program's uninstaller, run BitRemover, delete all IObit subfolders under Program Files>IObit, delete all IObit folders and subfolders under Documents & Settings and reboot my system and run install file. This is the only issue I haven't been able to resolve. Once ASC is installed I get the black toolbars IE: black background w/black text (see attachments).

I know AutoRuns & Revo were mentioned earlier, but have you tried CCleaner or RegShot? CCleaner reg scanner will (sometimes) pick up leftovers from uninstalled programs, & RegShot will show all the changes from an installation so that you can remove it & revert it.Įdit: If it is a file & you know it is related to the program your trying to remove but it will not remove, try using Unlocker. Regshot -> Try using Regshot to record all the changes as you install the app, then use it so you can remove all the pieces to it. Revo Uninstaller -> As mentioned earlier, run as admin & see what it turns up. ONLY deleted the keys related to your missing driver file. CCleaner -> Registry cleaner -> See if it shows up when you scan for invalid keys. Autoruns, as mentioned earlier by someone, is a very good utility to locate & delete leftover driver files -> Right-click/Run as Admin.
